A short, five-step guide to start contributing to BTC Map in your community.

Open data. We don't own the data — it's completely open and lives on OpenStreetMap. Anyone with an account can edit it. BTC Map is just a friendly viewer on top of it.

  1. Find your community or country

    Find your country or community on BTC Map.

  2. Open the Maintenance tab

    This view lists merchants with data issues that need attention.

  3. Pick local issues you can fix

    Scan the list. Outdated opening hours, missing coordinates, wrong names — small fixes make a big difference.

  4. Fix them on OpenStreetMap

    Create a free OpenStreetMap account and edit the map directly. Changes usually appear on BTC Map within an hour. Press the "help" button to see issue-specific guidance.
